We have spaces for guest artists during Open Studio events at the mills. Space is limited and the number of available spaces changes from event to event.
The Guest Artist Fee is $50 per artist. Group rates are available for groups with 5 or more people. Studios sizes vary. We typically have a minimum of 4 guest artists per studio. Each guest has at least an 8′ x 8′ area in the studio. You may set up tables, displays or hang work on the walls. The walls are made of wood and nails may be placed anywhere. You space will be reserved once the fee has been received. Fees are nonrefundable. Fees are made payable to:

If you would like to rent a studio for the event the Rental Fee is $50, in addition to the $50 Guest Artist Fee. You will be given access to the studio the Friday before the event and will need to return the key on Monday after the event. A studio will not be reserved until payment is received. Guest artists can begin setting up at 7am on the morning of the event. There is access to the freight elevator in the parking lot.
Parking in the upper mill lot is fine during set up. However, before the event begins, you will need to move your car to the lower mill parking lot or to one of the “event parking” lots across the street. Ignore the parking permit signs, they indicate assigned parking areas for tenants. Visitors and guest artist can park anywhere in the mill lots.
Amy Woodworth is the office manager for the mill owners, Cutter Family Properties. She is also the contact person for Guest Artists. She collects the fees and organizes the studio assignments for all the guest artists.
Amy will contact you when she has received your fees and confirm scheduled for the event, however specific studio assignments will not be confirmed until the day before the event.
